Hi, I'm John Whitfield and I'd like to thank you for visiting our website! I'd also like to give a little background on our business. Prism Photography officially opened for business in January 2003. We specialize in photographic coverage of local and regional outdoor action events. The business is owned and operated by myself, and my wife Vera. Together, we intend to provide our customers with a superior photographic experience. We plan to do this by offering exciting action images for reasonable prices, providing superior customer service with a personal touch, and to have a lot of fun doing it! Vera is a teacher by trade and loves to work with people of all ages. She'll be coordinating events, processing orders, and helping to run the day-to-day business. As for myself, I'm the guy behind the camera. My experience with photography began in 1980 after joining the Army. I not only learned to shoot many types of weapons, but after purchasing my first SLR, I also learned to shoot good action images. Twenty-some years later, I'm still taking pictures and loving it! In the early 90's, I began taking pictures on a more professional level. I spent a couple of years shooting wedding photography with a wedding studio. Later, in the mid 90's, at the request of friends and co-workers, I started shooting District 37 desert motorcycle races and children's sporting events. It was during this time I began entertaining the idea of making a business out of action photography.

And there you have it, the birth of Prism Photography. We're small now but expect to grow, and during the process we hope to generate a lot of satisfied customers along the way.
